[edit] Introduction

This is an example where information about unit processes is matched to information about the output of actual industrial facilities. The intent is to try to deduce the internal processes, which can also provide information about the types of inputs used.

[edit] Future Directions

See Inferring processes in use by facilities through knowledge of functional group synthesis for some initial notes.

[edit] Simple Example

This lists side by side a facility with unit process that has at least one flow in common with it.

[edit] More advanced example

This is similar to the query above, but it counts up the number of flows that the facilities and unit processes have in common. This is meant to give a ranking to indicate the likelihood that the unit process is actually in use within the facility.
