Enipedia is powered by MediaWiki and SemanticWiki.
These are both advanced, state-of-the-art open source software packages. SemanticWiki converts MediaWiki into a Semantic Database. In order to make effective use of it, the semantic database structure has been developed using expert knowledge on power plant technology, gas infrastructure and industry respectively.
